We had a shared vision with our clients on the potential this house offered in this private plot with long rear gardens. A rare find in Sale!
The extensions and alterations involved significant structural works which impacted much of the existing house. We took this as an opportunity to look at the relationship and flow of the spaces holistically.
The double height side extension replacing the existing garage created all the space for the family’s needs without the need to extend to the rear. Building bigger is not necessarily better, building smarter was the way forward.
Re-modeling of the existing external fabric also gave this tired house a new lease of life with contemporary detailing of traditional materials already present in the area.
The result is a bright, open, sociable, comfortable home that has the flexibility to change as the family grows.
