This project is about making the most of every square foot. By carefully extending the ground floor, the design not only creates a larger kitchen and dining space but also gives the illusion of a bigger garden—achieved without increasing the plot itself.

The defining feature of the scheme is the fully glazed, splayed wall to the rear extension. Unlike a conventional rectilinear form, this angled wall gently opens out into the garden, guiding the eye outward and creating a seamless visual connection between house and landscape. The timber-framed doors fold back completely, allowing the dining space to spill into the garden—perfect for summer evenings and social gatherings.

Inside, the plan was reconfigured to better support modern family life. A new en-suite and home office were introduced, alongside a refreshed family bathroom. At the top of the house, the loft conversion provides a generous master suite complete with dressing room and private en-suite, transforming underused space into a retreat of its own.
